Our CEO/Administrator, Mr. Chad Hunter, has operated in different capacities of Mental Health, Social Services and Assisted Living. During the last 15 years, he has worked as a Program Coordinator for a Non-Profit residential organization that provided both a stable living and working environment to over 200 individuals with both mental and physical challenges where he operated in both the Independent Supported Living Assistance and Residential Habilitation Supported Living areas. He also provided support and guidance to Host Families (families that temporarily cared for individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes who may not have had a family or home to call their own). It was his next job that led him into the Senior Living Industry. Mr. Hunter worked as an Assisted Living and Memory Care Coordinator for what was at that time, one of the largest Senior Living companies in the industry. Mr. Hunter spent over two years providing one on one care to his mother in law who was diagnosed with Dementia and struggled with COPD the last years of her life. It was here where he began to carve a path that would change his life forever. Caring for his mother in law, working with seniors and advocating for them, wholeheartedly, would light a fire inside of him that would lead him on the path to advocate and nurture seniors by starting his own At Home and Senior Living Consulting Agency.
Yolanda has over 20 years of Social Service experience. She received her M.Ed in Counseling and has experience counseling seniors, couples, individuals with mental illness and substance abuse. Yolanda received her certification from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP) as a certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and Certified Alzheimer’s Disease Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT).Yolanda stepped away from individual counseling to impact and serve a broader group of individuals by providing operational oversight for companies who provide services to hundreds of seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities on a 24 hour daily basis.Yolanda’s major responsibilities were design and implementation of a company’s training program, training front line and executive level staff, and providing operational oversight to single and multi-site communities. Yolanda along with her husband cared for her Mother, Carol, during her last years of her life after surviving Hurricane Katrina. Carol was diagnosed with Dementia and COPD. During these final years Yolanda had to call on assistance from Assisted Living communities, Home Care, Home Health and in the end Hospice to help manage her mother's care. It was during this time that Yolanda made a committment to personally impact the quality of care for all individuals, speciffically Seniors, throughout the remainder of life and professional career. "I'm a dedicated to ensuring that any Senior Living Company/Community I support has quality systems in place to enable the delivery of all care and services provided at its highest level...." Yolanda
